Approach and Preparation
Engage will organise a workshop with key people to
introduce the process and capture the major issues and
parameters.
Phase One - Data Collection
Engage will install a Performance Analysis server
to collect performance data from the IT Infrastructure.
We will interview key stakeholders (managers, administrators
and end-users) to gather relevant information like working
patterns, internal policies, business priorities, critical
computing resources, IT service issues and future growth
plans
Phase Two - Analyse Findings
Analyse performance data and interview results.
Evaluate current IT Infrastructure utilisation versus
current and future business requirements
Phase Three - Report Findings
Create and present the IT Capacity Assessment report
describing our findings and recommendations.
Deliverables
A report and presentation to key people including
the following information:
- Findings: IT Infrastructure Overview, Current priorities
& working patterns, Results of the Performance Data
Analysis, Resource issues, Planned IT Infrastructure
changes
- Recommendations for improved utilisation, Workload/Resource
